The Beacon GIVES BACK Community FUNd accepts grant requests from only (1) registered not-for-profit and, (2) charitable organizations based in the Thompson Okanagan Region. The grants are to assist with; capital projects, new program initiatives and equipment needs for family and youth focused initiatives. Beacon priorities organizations that support the health and well-being to community members year round.
Grant applications are accepted online October 1 – October 31st, with funds awarded annually by March 1st.
*Geographically, the Thompson Okanagan is bounded by Manning Park to the west, Kamloops to the north, Grand Forks to the east and Osoyoos to the South, encompassing the Thompson, Shuswap, Okanagan, Boundary and Similkameen regions.
