Beacons for Hope

Fundraising for local food banks and Beacons Furry FUNdation Childrens Programs with a fun twist on an old classic, Beacons for Hope. Plush beavers are set to take over the region representing businesses and organizations throughout the region and raise funds for food banks throughout the region!

How Does The Program Work?

Businesses/Organizations have the option to sponsor a plush beaver and customize his attire to best represent them starting from $150-$295. It could be a mechanic, salesman, computer nerd, fireman, baker, cowboy, casino dealer, hockey, baseball or football players, so many options and if we don’t have an outfit in his wardrobe or you want something completely customized we can work with you to do that too. Each 15” plush will stand tall or sit on a 10” wood round with a name plate on the front with the sponsoring businesses/organizations name on it and be accompanied with a birth certificate, adoption certificate and collectors ornament. The process starts with going over details of your plush beavers apparel and accessories.

COVID-19 Impact
Beacons Furry FUNdation Society's need for Beacons for Hope sponsors has grown in it's founding year of this fund due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The food banks and our childrens funds need help this year more then ever as families struggle with loss of work and health issues during the pandemic.

Why We Do What We Do

This event allows us to fundraise for amazing organizations while having loads of fun. All the organizations we fundraise for with this event truly need our help more then ever and this event allows you the chance to win a customized plush with every $10 donation through our website to one of our participating organizations. There will be multiple opportunities via raffle tickets and silent auction to have a chance to win. No 2 beavers are identical.
